The central theme of the work is the culture «taken away» — the position, the role, and, if more broadly and metaphorically, any attribute of the concealment of a person begins to form and replace human identity, thereby triggering and replicating the mechanisms of exclusion: from itself, from another, from the world. Although it has a protective function, the problem arises when it begins to form a person by placing him in service: the role of the subject-subject is shifted. It takes away what is human, turns it into a function, a threat, an object. A barrier that makes it impossible to truly recognize another, just like yourself.

Contrary to its external appeal, it always loses the revelation of any living face.

«Picked» lowers a person to primitive forms, turning him into a cultural Neanderthal.
