General Rules for Garden Layouts in Northern and Central Russia

«General Rules for Designing Gardens, with a List of Hardy Woody Plants in Northern and Central Russia»—a unique piece of 19th-century botanical work. Eduard Ludvigovich Regel was the second director in the history of the Peter the Great Botanical Garden and authored over 500 scientific treatises on botany, making an enormous contribution to the development of horticulture in the Russian Empire. The goal of my project is to adapt this book for modern readers.
