CONCEPT
This parklet is a compact space designed for brief relaxation for city dwellers during hot weather. Its primary goal is to create a comfortable oasis within the urban environment—a spot where park visitors can escape the heat, recuperate, and spend a few minutes in a cool and tranquil atmosphere.
The space is equipped with an air conditioning system that maintains a comfortable temperature even on the hottest days. The area is supplemented with a water cooler, allowing visitors to refresh and replenish their fluids. Soft beanbag chairs are provided for relaxation, creating an informal and laid-back atmosphere.
The architecture of the parklet combines functionality and lightness: an open entrance makes the space accessible and visually connected to the surrounding park, while the semi-transparent wall elements protect visitors without losing the feeling of being among nature. The wooden structural elements and the calm, neutral color palette harmonize the object seamlessly within the park environment.
This type of parklet becomes a unique urban oasis of coolness—a small public space designed for resting passersby, park visitors, and anyone who needs a break during a stroll. It combines simple yet essential functions: protection from the heat, access to cool air and drinking water, and the ability to pause briefly and rest in a comfortable environment.
