«Rediscovering Russia» is a program of student expeditions that change the life of the regions for the better. © https://openrussia.rsv.ru / 2022-2025 — 225 expeditions lasting from 2 to 20 days.

29 of them are organized by the National Research University of Higher School of Economics and two more are organized by the National Research University of Higher School of Economics jointly with the RANEPA.

During this time, the project participants visited 66 regions. Most often they visited the Arkhangelsk Region, Primorsky Krai, the Republic of Karelia and the Sverdlovsk Region.

The expeditions took place both in the form of visits to one or more nearby places (settlements, nature reserves, national parks), and in the form of trips to several regions. The largest expedition in terms of coverage is «Exploring the region in the context of global historical connections using digital humanities methods», 2022.
The most popular topic is urban science and territorial development.
