Culture and art are a part of our national heritage, passed down from generation to generation. However, many cultural objects, including traditional crafts, are under threat of destruction. Many Russian cities once flourished as centers of artisanal mastery, and Tyumen is one such vibrant center. The inspiration for the decor of the «Ethnofest» creativity and development festival comes from Tyumen’s velour carpets. This project aims to draw attention to crafts that are fading away and have already been forgotten.
