The work is made using the technique of artistic casting based on imprints of living plants. Several years ago, I came up with my own direction of botanical bas-relief. I began to make plaster panels, «painting» with plants. A complex but interesting technique that requires knowledge of plants, their shape, architecture and texture.
I work intuitively, all my bas-reliefs are improvisation, although well prepared. It’s like jazz! Botanical jazz) It is important for me to show not just the beauty of the moment, but to convey the natural, unique architecture of plants.
