This is exactly the key question of Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky’s novel ” Crime and punishment.» This work is rightfully included in the list of world-class literary treasures and is considered the greatest cultural heritage of our country.
In my poster, I reflected the mental anguish of Raskolnikov, the main character of the novel. And symbolically showed how his world «splits» into before and after the commission of the crime.
Punishment hung over him in the form of an axe, the same weapon he had used in the atrocity.
The text shatters like splinters, and the hero’s thoughts form a confusing and unclear lump to himself.
