The book is a collection of essays about boredom and dull places, commissioned for the «Gromov» House of Culture project. The book is structurally divided into three parts: artists’ works; critics’ essays on boredom and dull places; and private collections of contemporary art. Instead of arranging the book into three sequential sections, I decided to divide it in parallel, implementing a tripartite structure within the book block. This creates a variable structure for every spread—the reader can flip through the top, middle, and bottom sections of the book interchangeably.
