Funnel

The «Raven» zine is constructed from aged paper, watercolor silhouettes, and handwritten typography. The work is divided into two sections—moving from light to dark—based on the narrative of Edgar Allan Poe’s story.

The narrative centers on the protagonist’s longing for the deceased Lenore. At midnight, a raven arrives, perches on the bust of Athena, and answers every question with, «Nevermore.» Hope shatters, and the raven’s shadow envelops the entire space.
