A top-down bullethell shooter. You are Father Mitrofan, and your church has been overrun by demons and various malevolent spirits. Imitators are advancing from all sides, but you have sacred relics: a cross and Pugach, which allow you to defend yourself against the demons.
A host of demons has attacked the temple, defiling the sacred ground. They approach in three waves, squad by squad. You, as the sole clergyman and protector of the temple, must defend it against these assaults, using all of your sacred relics. You are Father Mitrofan.
First, the father must cleanse the sacred ground around the church—the forest, the river, the cemetery. The final battle will take place in the heart of the church—inside it.
What in the hell?!
Foolish imps, timid, weak. One alone in the field—not a warrior—and the ghouls are afraid to approach the father figure on their own. But unite them—and they will become a formidable force.
Timid demons who dislike dirtying their paws: they hurl burning projectiles from afar, but if necessary, can also strike with their claws.
The Summoner—by itself, this being is weak, but from its depths can emerge a multitude of small, malicious sprites that threaten to overwhelm.
A monstrous, immobile clump of tentacles. Its tentacles stretch far out, aiming to reach Father Mitrofan. It is best not to come under their blows, especially the favored «mill.»
How to defeat the demons?
The first and most important relic of Father Mitrofan is a pugach or pistol called the «Power of the Ancestors.» It is loaded with silver bullets, deadly to demons.
The second relic is the priest’s cross. The cross is not a weapon, but an instrument that drives away evil spirits.
But the main power of the cross lies in God’s help—the strength accumulated from every demon vanquished with the aid of the cross.
The last relic—a bottle of holy water. It burns demons like fire when Mitrofan throws it into the crowd of blasphemers.
Mitrofan needs help
Of course, the priest cannot manage without support. Therefore, he can always receive healing at the altar with candles, and immeasurable power from the iconostasis.
